وعدت في تدوينة سابقة كتبت فيها عن علاقتي بالموسيقى أن اكتب عن يوهان شتراوس. سأخلف بوعدي بعض الشيء لأشارككم كلمات أغنيتي المفضلة

A few months after recording this song Stevie was involved in a car accident that nearly took his life and left him in a coma. His friend singing this song in his ear seemed to speed up his recovery.
I do, writing this; confirm that I believe in the healing powers of music.

In 2011 the humanitarian music project “Playing For Change” recorded the inspiring song with a number of world musicians (including my favorites; Tinariwen’s frontman Ibrahim Ag Alhabib and bassist Eyadou Ag Leche), using the voices of the South African Titi Tsira and the American Clarence Bekker (YouTube link)
